i think this is my favorite venue solely based on experiences .. .and not even music related ones .. .ive seen better bands at other spots …but an evening at dd never disappoints

 I agree.  The Double Door is a great venue for bands and fun; however, I think my heart leans more toward The Empty Bottle.  I like the more intimate setting, the cheaper beer, and it’s one of the first places I went after moving here.

You’ll probably be shocked, shocked to learn that there is a substantial overlap between “people who belong to book clubs” and “people who engage in arts and crafts”. Anyway, some girls from my monthly reading rainbow are trying to woo me into their glitter-soaked alternate universe and I have been cordially invited to join them on a crafting shopping spree tomorrow.

I am accepting this request, but not without trepidation. And this email from my friend didn’t do much to calm my nerves:
